I think Friends of Silver Street School is a good idea, particularly since it includes more of the community than just current parents/students/teachers.
I like it too, and we need a name to give when we're making our calls and writing our letters.
FOSSE
I like Friends of Silver Street Elementary because we can use the acronym FOSSE as we continue to grow - (pronounced Fossie) - FOSSE could become a good friend to us in the long run - right now FOSSE is endangered, and "a friend in need is a friend indeed" . . .Thanks, Bonnia Cook Fouts
So now we need a domain name - it appears that www.fosse.net is available. However, some people seem to like that and some don't. PLEASE give us your ideas on a domain name - the clock is ticking.
I think it is a shame that we have to do this again. We had to save the school over 10 years ago. What do we have to do to prove what a great school this is? I think it is great that the community is still strong enough to pull together for the benefit of our children.
